Oval Drop Earrings – Blue Spinel, White Quartz (Splash 2009 Archive)

An oval turned on its side. Setting the blue spinel horizontally changes the whole attitude of the earring, wider, a little unexpected, more modern than the usual drop. A small white quartz sits above in its own swirl-edged setting, and the checkerboard briolette cut keeps the blue bright and see-through. Light on the wire for their size.
